If your are trying to build a SUPERB GEM PR 25C Set, then you will know the 1902 in PR 67 is a “ghost” date. Not only that, this is only the second one we have ever seen with really pretty color!
Outstanding super deep, crystal clear, clean, and boldly reflective mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors look like a freshly blown sheet of glass. A killer mix of totally ORIGINAL deep blue/purple/heavy golden brown colors swirl all over and open into lighter centers (we think a dime was sitting on top of the coin for awhile). Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have razor sharp strikes. This piece is actually a borderline Cameo too. The eye appeal is stunning!
Only 777 were ever minted. PCGS 6, NGC 15, CAC 4 (we think this coin is represented 2X). There are NO PCGS PR68’s Good luck on finding a better 1902!
