25C 1890 PCGS PR64 CAMEO

This coin is just a few light wispy lines from being a full GEM PR65 Cameo! It does have a powerful cameo contrast.

We certainly are not seeing many nice, fresh, and crisp PR64’s like this anymore. Both sides have deep, super clear, and highly reflective “watery” mirrors. As we mentioned, if you use a strong glass, you can see some light lines. There is a light hint of gold on the outer rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is stunning!

ONLY 590 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 12, CAC 2. The last auction record for one of these (a non CAC of course) is from 2004! That coin sold for $1,380.00 Heritage. That’s powerful proof as to how hard to find this date is (We also saw NO auction records for the 2 PR65’s)! Opportunity sure does scream and knock loud here!
