25C 1887 PCGS PR66 CAMEO

This is a fabulous stunning GEM Proof. Deep mirrors boom from all over. They have strong clarity, are clean, and have bold reflection. Even using a strong glass to inspect only impresses you more. A mellow and totally original mix of pale navy/purple/lavender blankets most of the obverse and lightens in the centers. The reverse is more navy probably from sitting on felt. NONE of the colors are drab or dull. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a creamy white and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful! ONLY 710 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 5, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. How about this for real rarity: the last 25C 1887 PCGS PR66 CA to appear in auction-was back in 01/2006!
