One of our favorite dates. Only 5000 pieces were ever minted.

As you would expect with a lower mintage, this coin is fully prooflike. In fact, at first glance, it looks like a proof! Overall, the surfaces are clean (under a glass you can see a stray line or tick). An intense luster also shows off the moderate dusky gold color that evenly blankets both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is flashy and excellent!

PCGS 11, NGC 2. Both services have graded only ONE coin higher. Do not be fooled by the pops, this date and grade does not appear often! The auction records for this coin are as follows: $8,050.00 1/09 Heritage, $9,200.00 1/08 Heritage, and $13,800.00 11/07 Heritage. As you can clearly see, this date is off 30% from its peak. You can’t ask for a better time to add this to a collection!
