This coin is one of our favorite purchases from the show. It is totally amazing!
Both sides have an incredible mix of colors. Deeper (but not dark) shades of purple/gold/violet/navy/pale forest green all swirl together in a neat funky fashion. There is no question the colors are original. You can clearly see the technical quality of this coin is all there and then some. The surfaces are ultra clean and smooth. Not only is there a full booming luster, but there are traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are fully struck. A colored MS67 Seated Quarter does not get much better than this! Great eye appeal too!
Only 13600 were ever minted. PCGS 3, NGC 8, CAC 1. The last one to appear at a major auction brought $6,038.00 07/04 Heritage (thats 6 years ago)! Now is the best time to buy a coin like this since most Seated coins are not hot. Opportunity knocks loud here!
