WOW! This is a totally original and high end coin.
The quality is VERY close to full AU58. Both sides are exceptionally clean and smooth. Faint traces of luster enhance heavy (not dull or drab) golden brown/sand colors. There is a touch of blue by the obverse stars. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is problem free and wonderful!
10890 pieces were minted. This is the lone AU55 by either PCGS or NGC. Then there are NO coins graded until MS65, where PCGS and NGC each have graded one. Even in AU53, the pops are PCGS 1, NGC 1. The extreme rarity of this can NOT be exaggerated. Do not blink! The chances of another 71CC in ANY grade (especially AU) being offered is slim. Opportunity knocks harder and louder than ever here!
