25C 1868S PCGS MS64+

We purchased this outstanding coin from one of the leading ‘up and coming” crackout dealers. He had tried it twice for a 64+/65 and is done. We do agree the coin is VERY high end, we do not think it is a 65 though. Regardless, it is still once heck of a rarity!

You can see the full cartwheel type luster beaming all over from across the room. The surfaces are ultra satiny and have only the slightest hint of a line or two (you can only see them with a glass). We do believe this coin was dipped long ago-and has come back nicely. The color is a rich off white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 4, NGC 2, CAC 1 (There is only coin graded higher by PCGS-a MS67)! PCGS has only this example for an MS64+. This coin sold for $15,275.00 back in 08/2013 heritage when it was just an MS64. We think with the + added and the fact its not going to cost you $20,000.00, this coin is a very good deal today. Opportunity knocks loud here!
