25C 1860 PCGS MS66

We can not believe our eyes! This is a monster of an MS No Motto. It was sent to us by a very picky dealer who told us he placed it with a customer 20 years ago. We believe him-and we bought it instantly! We never see coins like this around any more.

The originality of this coin is mind boggling and unquestionable. There is only one small tick in the right field that keeps this coin from being a “no brainer” MS67. Overall, the surfaces appear smooth and perfect. A decent luster shows off heart pounding original colors of blue/pale purple/golden brown/pewter that evenly cover both sides. Amazingly, Miss Liberty and the details are 100% struck and appear boldly. The eye appeal is beyond sensational!

PCGS 2, NGC 3. NGC has graded one higher (we sure would love to see how it compares to this piece). We could offer to pay $50,000.00 for another PCGS coin that looks like this and at best, all we might ever get is the other one that has been graded. This is a date we have NEVER even seen in PCGS MS65 (its a pop 4). Plus, these are so rare, there are absolutely NO auction records for ANY MS65 or 66’s! We strongly believe this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for any serious MS Seated Quarter specialist.
