25C 1854 W/A PCGS MS65

We bought this coin because we felt it was totally WRONG to be graded only an MS65. We resubmitted it at least twice. PCGS obviously does not agree!

To the naked eye, the surfaces are perfect and smooth. Only with a microscope could you find the teeniest tick or line hidden. Stiil, these should not down grade a coin since they are hidden. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides are a gorgeous mix of totally ORIGINAL pale olive/golden brown colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 11, NGC 18, CAC 6 (probably could minus 2 here). We make no bones that we paid $14,685.00 for this coin out of the Heritage Pre ANA sale. Prior to that a similar coin sold for $17,825.00 04/2012 Heritage that was NGC! Besides being VERY high end, this coin is a VERY underpriced rarity! Do NOT let the pops fool you!
