This is the type of coin we would put into the VERY BEST collection. It may be nicer than some MS66’s. We have not tried it for an MS66, but we we definitely think PCGS showed this coin no mercy. We rank it in the top 2% for the grade!
Outrageous surfaces are super clean and have a satiny texture. Both sides explode with a full booming luster. There is a heart pounding mix of ORIGINAL golden brown/blue colors by parts of the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. We think the slight weakness in the stars could be the ONLY reason why this coin is not an MS66. The eye appeal is total jaw dropping!
PCGS 10, NGC 17, CAC 2.THIS IS THE ONLY MS65+ GRADED BY PCGS/NGC! It has no auction history. A GEM MS65 is worth about $10,000.00, while an MS66 is worth $30,000.00. Our coin is not cheap, but you really have to see it to know how wild it is.
