We can’t say enough about this totally GEMMY coin. Its taken us years to find a nice ORIGINAL specimen like this.
No question this totally ORIGINAL GEM would be an MS65 every time. It has amazingly clean and smooth satiny surfaces. Even using a strong glass, we can not find ANY imperfections ANY where! A moderate luster shows off even moderate pewter/gold/pale blue colors on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is quite attractive.
PCGS 16, NGC 27, CAC 2. PCGS has graded 8 higher-while CAC has sticker’d NONE higher. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, these are extremely rare coins. We have only handled one other (back in 2007) and that’s it.
