Do nto be fooled by the pops, this is an extremely RARE date in GEM. Last year we handled ONE. Prior to that-2007. We are pleased to own and offer this sold MS65 piece!
An impressive luster shows off surprising intensity. The surfaces are clean overall-but do reveal a few frost breaks (NON are distracting). Both sides are a soft white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 16, NGC 27, CAC 4. CAC has beaned NONE higher. PCGS has graded 6 higher. Still, we stress how exceedingly rare these are in TRUE GEM. The last one to sell in major auction brought $18,400.00 03/12 Heritage. Type collectors, as well as 25C collectors need them!
