We love when ever we can buy “old friends” back. This coin has been with a collector since we placed it back in 2010. No question, this coin is of VERY HIGH END quality.
Surprisingly deep, clear, super clean, and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. A totally ORIGINAL moderate mix of olive/blue/pale lime/pale gold colors swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have razor sharp strikes. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!
ONLY 10 pieces were minted. yes, that’s rarer then a 1894S 10C and even rarer then an 1804 $1! PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2 (we think this is 2 of the PCGS pop). This particular coin has NEVER sold in auction. A NGC NON CAC coin did sell in auction back in 2005 David Lawrence and brought $17,250.00. Who knows what it would bring in a major sale today? We bought it right and will pass the savings on to you!
