This is an exceptional example of an extremely underrated and rare date in GEM. Coins like this you hardly see offered anymore.
No question this coin is totally original. Deeper original colors of iridescent blue/navy/green/deep pewter swirl vividly on both sides. The surfaces are clearly visible thanks to a full booming luster. There are no major problems. Only using a strong glass can you detect a HIDDEN OLD tiny tick on the cheek. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is terrific and then some!
PCGS 10, NGC 15, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 8 coins higher. We do not think the pops are correct for this date in MS65 and higher. There are NO auction records what so ever for ANY PCGS MS65 coins selling over the past decade! An NGC coin sold in 07/09 for $14,950.00 Heritage. We can not stress enough what a tremendous opportunity this coin represents. TRUE GEM BUST material simply does not exist anymore.
