25C 1837 PCGS MS64
$6,750.00
THINK + COLLECT CONTRARIAN! These have really fallen out of favor. You can build a really nice MS64 set 1831-1838 for around $50,000.00. That is ridiculously cheap!
This is a HIGH END and total quality oriented coin. In our opinion, the reverse is a 64++.
Superb surfaces are semi sleek and do have a thick satiny texture. Only hen using a strong glass can you find a few lines and a few microscopic ticks. There is a really neat die crack on the obverse. The luster is soft. Both sides are bathed in a moderate and totally original mix of deep champagne/pearl gold/warm blue colors. There are two toning spots on the obverse-12:00 and 2:00. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 27, NGC 27, CAC 6. We can’t believe this coin sold for $6,013 10/20. Prior to that, one brought $7,050.00 03/2020. Sadly, this series is clearly being overlooked in todays marketplace. We suggest you take your dupes and junk, sell/trade them and collect this series 1831-1838 in MS64/65. These are just too cheap in our opinion!
