25C 1831 PCGS MS64
$13,500.00
A semi-prooflike masterpiece. This almost looks like a prooflike colored Morgan Dollar!
Clean surfaces reveal only a few stray lines when strong magnification is used. Remarkably iridescent and totally original album like colors swirl all over. Stunning shades of slightly mottled green/olive/magenta/violet/rose/gold/blue really stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. We do grade the reverse of this coin a full MS65+. The eye appeal is so juicy!
PCGS 12, NGC 2, CAC 4. The Large Letters is the much rarer variety (Small Let has a pop of 56 in MS64). PCGS has graded only 5 coins higher. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $10,575.00 06/2014 Heritage. We’ll bet that coin didn’t come close tot his coins colored prooflike surfaces!
