25C 1828 PCGS MS64 LARGE SIZE

We have never owned a PCGS 1828 25c before-in 2007 we owned an NGC coin. No 63, 65s, or any others for the date in either service. These are so rare and get little respect because they seldom make appearances (so CDN have no clue as to their real value, thus prices are kept unchanged). This is one heck of an original GEM!

Amazing and fully prooflike surfaces cover both sides. Using a strong glass we see NO problems, just a light small and scattered line or two. Hard to believe, there are NO ticks or hits. An even layer of pretty purple/champagne/golden brown/pale blue colors mix together and cover all areas. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful! Most important, is the unquestionable originality of this GEM.

PCGS 8, NGC 17, CAC 1. To date, this is the ONLY 1828 stickered by CAC. You certainly won’t see another in at every show or auction you attend. One of the 4 PCGS graded MS65’s would run you at least $35,000.00 if you could find one (and IF it would CAC). The prices of coins like this in MS64 and higher simply are depressed. According to our auction records computer, there has NOT been an MS64 in auction since 2005 (when a coin sold for $8,625.00). Opportunity knocks loud here!
