25C 1818 PCGS MS66

This is an amazing coin that was clearly stored carefully since the day it left the mint! The quality is easily MS66.8+!

The first thing you notice is how remarkably clean and sleek the surfaces are. Even with a strong glass all you will find is one tiny line. These surfaces have clearly never had any contact. A decent luster shows off totally ORIGINAL moderate shades of olive/pale violet/blue/pewter/green colors that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 4, NGC 4, CAC 2. NO PCGS/CAC piece has ever been for sale at auction. In fact, these are so rare the last piece to be auctioned was back in 3/09, and that coin brought $34,500.00 (it was dark). We can’t even find nice MS65s anymore, let alone a coin as nice as this. It is our VERY strong opinion this should be at least a $75,000.00 coin. One thing is for sure, you’re certainly NOT going to find another one anytime soon!
