20C 1878 PCGS PR64 CAMEO

PCGS is either way too tough on a coin or grades a coin silly loose. In this case, what were they thinking? Not even a +???

This monster is a really HIGH END borderline PR65 Cameo. Ultra deep and crystal clear mirrors are clean and have the most outrageous reflectivity possible. Only if you use a strong glass will you see a few light lines. An electric ring of ORIGINAL azure blue/purple/violet frames the rims only on the obverse. The reverse is soft gold/pale blue. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have super thick silvery white frost. Your eyes won’t be able to stay in their sockets. This coin has MONSTER eye appeal!

This Proof ONLY date has just 600 minted. PCGS 21, NGC 18, CAC 5. Hard to believe but NO PCGS/CAC pieces have sold at auction. This is the kind of coin you pay a record or really strong price to buy. There is no way this coin could disappoint you!
