No question this coin was stored in tissue paper or some kind of box for a very long time. Totally ORIGINAL moderate toning consists of: navy/violet/tangerine/dove gray/pale olive. The reverse has the most vibrant colors (note: this is NOT a dull or drab coin). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

In fact the last 1877 PCGS PR66 to be in auction brought $19,550.00-in 09/2007 Heritage. Ya think these are rare??? Current price guides are just stupid since NONE have traded in 5+ years! We salivate at what a coin like this would bring in a major auction today. But that’s not quite our game. We want to own this coin again down should its new owner ever sell this numismatic treasure.
