These are far harder to locate in PCGS/CAC than you think. We have not owned a PCGS PR66 1876 since 2007. This coin of course, was well worth the wait!
Strong mirrors are super clean, sleek, clear, and have bold reflectivity. The toning is totally original and is a little deeper on the reverse. Pretty colors of pale navy/pewter/rose/violet/gold all intermingle nicely. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is exceptional!
PCGS 10, NGC 5, CAC 2 (w/none higher). Interestingly, PCGS has graded NONE higher. A NON CAC piece sold for $12,077.00 06/2011. Good luck on finding another!
