$20 1853 900 ASSAY PCGS AU58+ SS CENTRAL AMERICA

Bet this coin went on the ship and was a full GEM. then disaster and it spent 155+ years on the bottom of the ocean encrusted in muck. The quality is quite acceptable. Only a few small cuts are visible. You can tell a lot of muck had been stuck to the surfaces. The surfaces are sort of granular. A surprising luster remains and is easily visible everywhere. Both sides re a yellow gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Most important: all of the details are extremely well struck. All wear is well hidden. The eye appeal is okay. The Ship Wreck had a PCGS pop of 4 in AU58+ and only 4 coins higher. In regular NON Ship Wreck, the PCGS AU58+ pop is zero. We estimate CAC has beaned only 2 in AU58+ (and we have the other). It should be noted the last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $13,200.00 04/2018. The price we are able to offer this at is not bad at all! 3154 pieces were retreved in 2014 on the last dive. All are graded and accounted for. So this is it on all the coins offered from the new batch!
