A well known coin in the dealer’s community. Years ago it sold for $35,000.00! It is considered one of the finest 1928 Saints graded.
We’d guess that maybe 25% of all MS67 Saints are properly graded. This coin certainly is superior to most other MS67’s. CAC totally agrees and they have a very low sticker rate.
Both sides scream with an intense high voltage luster. This is 100% NOT a dipped coin-as evidenced by two teenie copper spots. The surfaces are ridiculously clean and smooth. A killer combination of gold/yellow gold blazes on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and well struck. You can’t beat this coins eye appeal either!
