$20 1926D PCGS MS64

If you are building a high end GEM set, then this coin is a “must have”. It is better than one of the 3 MS65’s and we rank it in the top 5% for the grade for the date.

There is not much that keeps it from being an MS65. In fact, if this were a common date, it would easily make 65 (no guarantee this ever could or would). Both sides have practically NO marks of ANY size. The surfaces are satiny and emit an incredibly powerful booming luster. This coin has NO spots and clearly has NOT been dipped or messed with in any way. The color is a beautiful even yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and fully struck. the eye appeal is terrific!

We do NOT believe the pops are correct for this date in 64. PCGS 19, NGC 9, CAC 1. We just paid $253,000.00 in the FUN sale for one of the 3 PCGS MS65’s. ALL of the MS65’s are now in major collections and are not expected to surface anytime soon. This coin offers any serous Saint collector a tremendous opportunity.
