$20 1925 PCGS MS66

$3,850.00

Rich golden satiny luster brings out the totally original pale two tone colors on both sides of this well struck GEM. Bold orange-amber gold hues blend with lighter yellow-wheat coloration. Every detail in Ms. Liberty is fully brought out by a hard blow from the dies, even the windows of the Capital Building are visible! We note a few teeny ticks and giggles here and there but there are no seriously distracting marks ANYWHERE. While lumped in with all the Philly mints 1924-1928 as generic, there are far fewer MS66s graded of 1925 than the other dates. PCGS  1196, NGC 613, CAC 92. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,230.00 11/2016. We’re six months into 2017, and we see no records of any selling at auction that are graded MS66.
