Handpicked a nice and HIGH END coin!
Sadly, many coins of this caliber have been the lead in gradeflation and are in higher holders. CAC has really held the line of these. We wish all 1922 P MS64’s looked like this!
Only a few light frost breaks, ticks, and giggles can be seen if you use a strong glass. The surfaces are highly lustrous and do have a satiny texture. The color is an totally ORIGINAL yellow gold. There are a few hints of some scattered light toning (Mint grease). There are NO copper spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The coin does look very nice!
PCGS 7334, NGC 7698, CAC 212 (that says something -doesn’t it?). The last to sell in a major auction brought $2,300.00 07/2013 Heritage.
