This is a magnificent totally ORIGINAL GEM!
Finding a properly graded ORIGINAL piece like this is not easy. This date is famous for not coming so nice as well. Both sides are clean and have a satiny texture. A strong luster shows off deep gold colored surfaces. Only with a glass can you find a few TONING dots. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and have sharp strikes. The fantastic eye appeal reminds you more of a 1924!
PCGS 40, NGC 39, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only a 65+ higher while CAC has none. The last one of these to sell in major auction was back in 2010. That coin realized $25,300.00 (this coin). We have not handled one of these since early 2011! Not a date or grade you will see with any frequency!
