This is a coin we are probably going to deeply regret selling. It is the FINEST 1914S we have EVER seen-and we have seen many! Why it does not have a plus, or why PCGS only graded it MS66, is a total mystery to us. We do disagree with them on this one.
Even using the worlds strongest glass, this coin is virtually PERFECT! Both sides have a MONSTER satiny texture. A MONSTER headlight type booming luster adorns the surfaces. There are NO spots or stains. The color is a brilliant deep gold that mixes with hints of orange. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have amazing strikes. The eye appeal is mindboggling and then some!
PCGS 100, NGC 146, CAC 12. There are NO MS67’s at PCGS , while NGC has one (this coin is better). The last one in major auction sold for $8,050.00 08/10 Heritage. This coin blows it and all others away.
We are NOT over hyping this coin. It was a lucky purchase of being in the right place at the right time. We have stared at this coin since its purchase. The image will not due the coin justice.
