$20 1914D PCGS MS65+

Wonderful +! PCGS and CAC nailed this one down so right. It really does border on full MS66! Seriously above average surfaces are exceedingly clean and satiny in texture. The luster is bold and greatly shows off the totally original medium gold/faint rose colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have strong strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 1074, NGC 569, CAC 36. There are only 13 graded MS65+. Only two PCGS MS65+ CAC coins have ever sold in auction, the most recent one to sell brought nearly $5,300 in the 2014 Central States auction. Legend did buy this coin from our 01/2017 Auction because we liked it so much. GEMS like this are hard to come by! We walked the entire Long Beach Show looking for coins like this. Found ZERO!
