For a better date Saint like this to pass both PCGS and CAC’s standards-you know it has to all there and then some!
Seriously above average surfaces show only a few incredibly minor microscopic ticks (there is a tick on the eagle). There are NO scuffs or huge lines. The originality is unquestionable. Both sides also have a strong luster that shows off the original deep gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations on the highpoints. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is like the quality-terrific!
PCGS 317, NGC 187, CAC 16. The last one to sell in auction brought only $7,050.00 02/2014 Heritage. With MS65’s impossible to find at $60,000.00+, we think the prices need some adjustments for this date!
