Hard to believe that high Reliefs really are the greatest widgets of all time (in our opinion). They are not really rare, but it seems EVERY major collector wants one-many own multiples (we work with one collector who owns a dozen). This is as nice of an MS66 as we have ever seen. In fact, we owned it years ago-sold it to the dealer who sold it to the collector we just purchased it from!
No question this coin is a FRESH and totally ORIGINAL SUPERB GEM. The surfaces are sleek and have NO impairments. Even with a strong glass there are NO marks. A full booming luster shows off not only a heart pounding gorgeous gold color, but great “deep dish” High Relief surfaces. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have remarkable strikes. The eye appeal is outstanding!
