$20 1898-S PCGS MS64+
$2,750.00
No question this is a VERY HIGH END piece.
To the naked eye the surfaces look above average and are very clean. Only when using a strong glass can you find a light scuff/lines (NOTHING is serious). The surfaces have a thick satiny texture. A strong glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are an original gold/pale greenish gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. There is a light stacking mark by the lips (common for all $20’s) which really looks like a frost break. The eye appeal is very nice!
PCGS 1542, NGC 1190, CAC 204. PCGS has graded 96 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC MS64+ to sell in auction brought $2,640.00 08/2019. Before that one brought $3,600.00 in April. These seem to always be in demand. With gold taking a short breather, now is the best time to buy gold coins like these! Opportunity knocks loud here!
