$20 1876-S PCGS MS63+

We are thrilled to have been able to purchase this clearly above average HIGH END coin. Overall, for a Type that comes pretty battered, this coin is much better then most. Overall the surfaces are pretty clean. You can see just a few trivial ticks/light scuffs-NOTHING serious. When you use a glass, its not bad at all. A full brilliant luster beams from all over (there is one tiny grease dot hidden on the rev). Both sides are a beautiful and totally original orange/yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is absolutely terrific! This is not a drecky piece you’d find elsewhere! PCGS 116, NGC 75, CAC 17. PCGS has graded only 4 coins MS63+. There are just 17 graded higher. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $14,100.00. way back in 2012! Legend has not owned a MS63 since 2013-and back then we paid $14,500.00 for it. We can not stress enough how tough to find these are. We also can’t stress enough how this coin is no where near dirty ugly coins you typically see. NOTE: the last PCGS NO CAC to sell in MS64 brought $42,300.00 08/2015. This really is a great coin!
