$20 1875 PCGS MS63

This is a really sweet and nice coin. We were shocked to see we never handled an MS63 before. Thick satiny surfaces are not hacked up like so many come. There are some visible frost breaks and and a widely scattered light scuff or two on the obverse. We do grade the reverse a full MS64. The luster is moderate-which is really as good as you get for the date. Both sides are a totally original thick sandy gold color. There are ZERO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do have light frost. The eye appeal is terrific! PCGS 81, NGC 29, CAC  7. PCGS has graded only 4 finer. CAC has only beaned 3 finer. That is tremendous proof as to how rare these pieces are. The last one to sell in auction was a NON CAC which realized $5,405.00 11/2106. The ONLY PCGS CAC piece to sever sell in auction brought $13,800.00 08/2010. What further proof do need to understand the rarity here? Legend has not owned any not because we do not look-we have not liked what we have seen. We assure you, even if you are looking for a stone GEM, you won’t find many -if any better then this coin!  Be gad this is NOT in any auction.
