When we laid eyes on it-it was love at first sight. This coin looks more like an 1904 than a 73CC in circ! No question the quality is VERY high end.
Super clean looking surfaces have the slightest ticks only. Without a glass, they are hard to see. Both sides have a remarkable and surprisingly strong ORIGINAL luster. There is no question this coin is also ORIGINAL and has never been dipped. The color is an even ORIGINAL gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. What attracted us, will attract you too-the eye appeal will make your heart pound!
Only 22400 were ever minted. PCGS 24, NGC 80, CAC 4. NO PCGS or NGC CAC coins have ever been sold at auction. The prices for these have ranged from $13,500.00 to a few that sold for $18,400.00. Needless to say, we did not buy this coin cheap!
