We always buy circ 1850 $20’s when they are nice and are also reasonably priced. This coin obviously is both!
Typical to the date, this coin does have light and scattered teenie ticks. There are NO serious problems anywhere. While not quite a “dirty” coin, its NOT a dipped out either. Some light toning can be seen on the high points and around the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The wear is light and even. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!
PCGS 204, NGC 264, CAC 16. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $4,268.00 3/2013 Heritage.
