When in the world is the last time you remember seeing a really nice GEM 1914 $2.5? For us its been awhile and this coin was welcome inventory addition!
Superior surfaces are way above average in terms of cleanliness. There are a few thin light lines you need a glass to see, and the reverse just has a hidden frost break. Marks do not exist! The totally ORIGINAL surfaces also beam with a strong luster. Both sides are a beautiful ORIGINAL pale orange gold color. There are NO spots. The details are all frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 50, NGC 46, CAC 8. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $48,875.00 01/2012 Heritage (almost 2 years now-thats a powerful statement). If you are building a really SUPERB GEM set, this coin is a “must see”.
