$2.5 1910 PCGS PR66

When we first laid our eyes on this super GEM, we did so with a blast as our eyes popped out! The quality of this coin is unquestionably SUPER HIGH END! PCGS is so tight on Roman finish Matte PR gold that most of it is undergraded.

Outrageous Matte surfaces are everything they are supposed to be. Crisp, clean, and super satiny surfaces adorn both sides. A beautiful coloration of deep gold/pale orange beams for all over. There are NO spots or stains. The details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is tremendous!

ONLY 682 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 5, NGC 29, CAC 2 (we think its this coin 2x). PCGS has graded only ONE coin higher (a PR67). We did buy this coin from one of the best crackout dealers in the business. He does NOT mess with coins (no question this coin is totally virgin). He tried it a few times for a PR67. We agree its better than just 66-we tried it for a 66+. There is NO guarantee this coin will ever go up. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $48,875.00 06/11 Heritage.
