An impressive piece for a very hard to find grade!
NO question this coin is a full MS66. both sides are amazingly clean and smooth. Even the dreaded upper right field lacks any notable marks or even lines. A full luster shows off beautiful ORIGINAL colors of yellow/orange gold that swirl around. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are exceedingly well struck and have light frost. Compared to many others we have seen, this coin blows them away! The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 16, NGC 21, CAC 3. There are NONE graded finer. Earlier this year a NON CAC piece sold for $16,100.00 (06/11 Bowers). CAC pieces are tremendously UNDER valued in our opinion. This piece will stand on its own and will definitely bring its new home much prestige.
