1908 is NOT considered a common date. Its a slightly better date. Regardless, this is one really stunning piece. And its housed in an older green tag PCGS holder.
Both sides are extremely clean-however there are a few teenie ticks on the reverse that we think keep this coin from grading MS66. Overall, the surfaces appear smooth and lustrous. There are NO stains or discolorations. All of the details are boldly struck. There is no question this coin was never messed with. The color is a beautiful even orange gold. Lovely eye appeal.
The pops are PCGS 427, NGC 312. Auction records show the last one sold for $4,600.00 in 1/09 Heritage.
