$2.5 1872 PCGS AU53

$2,500.00

Another VERY rare and desirable gold piece (we have an 1872 G $1 as well). This coin is VERY high and we are not sure why its just a AU53 vs 55.

Super clean surfaces reveal NO problems to the naked eye. Even with a strong glass there are hardly any imperfections. Traces of prooflike mirrors along with a good luster are easy to see. The color is a totally ORIGINAL deeper orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. ALL wear is super light and is NOT discolored. The eye appeal is really great!

ONLY 3000 pieces were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 4, CAC 2. There are ONLY 18 graded higher by PCGS. PCGS has certified ONLY 52 coins in ALL grades. To prove how rare this date is: the last one auction was back in 2006-SIX years ago! Back then it brought $1,495.00 4/06 Heritage. We can’t stress enough what a tremendous opportunity this is for the advanced $2.5 Liberty Gold collector!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
