$2.5 1856-S PCGS AU58+ SS CENTRAL AMERICA

$3,850.00

How cool is  a coin from a real treasure ship? Especially when it is as well preserved as this coin! Its hard to believe this coin was on the sea bed for 100+ years. We really do NOT see any wear. You can actually see traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The mirrors do show off numerous light lines and even  few tiny ticks. NOTHING stands out to the naked eye. Both sides share a nearly blinding booming luster. Both sides are a blazing gold color. Add a full booming luster to the mirrored surfaces and the coin becomes nearly blinding. Of course there are no spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is really flashy and neat! PCGS 5 with 19 higher. Legend Numismatics has a deep and long standing relationship with the owners and distributors of the deal. They allowed us to purchase some of the top pieces in the entire Ship Wreck! So stay tuned! note: A REGULAR PCGS MS60 SOLD FOR $$7,313.00 IN 2006! The rarity of this date has NOT changed. Until the Ship was recovered, any 1856S $2.5 in ANY grade was exceedingly rare. According to PCGS, this is the ONLY AU58+ graded. The Shipwreck premium is very small here. Keep in mind, when all these are sold (and there re not many), good luck finding any more! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
