$2.5 1856 PCGS MS64+

We grade this coin MS64.9+! WOW! It is SUPER HIGH END in EVERY respect! Amazing surfaces are insanely clean and smooth. We looked over and over with a strong glass and found NOTHING-not even light frost breaks or hidden scuffs. A bold and glowing luster beams from all over. Beautiful and totally original yellow gold (with NO toning) decorates both sides. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck (minor softness on eagles leg is probably what holds this coin back from a full MS65). The eye appeal is just beyond gorgeous! PCGS 22, NGC 14, CAC 7 (only 3 beaned higher). PCGS has graded only 2 coins in MS64+. We believe the other coin sold for $3,525.00 in 02/2017. Looking like this, be glad this coin is not in one of our auctions! Too bad we have to sell coins, this would be yet another coin we’d keep on our desks to look at every day!
