$2.5 1854-C PCGS MS62

An incredible VERY HIGH END piece. It is tied with 3 others for finest graded! At first glance we wondered if this was a proof. Upon further evaluation, you see the prooflike surfaces to have light die polishing lines along with planchet bubbles. This coin is definitely NOT a proof. The mirrors are highly reflective and you do not need to imagine them. This coin is lustrous too. Both sides enjoy an beautiful and even mix of totally original yellow/deep yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are above average in strike-with only minor softness on the eagles leg feathers (this is as struck). For just an MS62, the eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 4, NGC 7, CAC 3. The current Collectors Universe Value is $25,000.00 As time goes on, a coin like this (especially with NO PCGS pieces graded higher) should only grown in value.
