We are not quite sure what keeps this coin from being a full MS65!
Technically, the coin sure look all there. Only with a strong glass can you see some light tiny frost breaks and a tick or two. To the naked eye, the surfaces are clean and smooth. A thick satiny luster shows off even deeper yellow gold color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are exceedingly well struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 44, NGC 70, CAC 14. PCGS has graded only THIS coin in MS64+. There are 11 in MS65. The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,650.00. In full MS65, the value is $5,900.00. Besides being gorgeous, this is a seldom seen date and grade!
