Why are we suddenly into C+D Mint coins? Simple, they are seriously UNDER valued (in our opinion). Its also VERY hard to find nice pieces.
The wear on this coin is practically invisible. Just a few stray lines is all you can detect using a powerful glass. The surfaces are very clean overall and display just a few light ticks. There is a surprisingly strong luster that illuminates the pretty yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceedingly well struck and appear boldly. The eye appeal is better than that of some common date higher graded pieces!
Only 12148 pieces were minted. PCGS 13, NGC 39. PCGS has only graded a possible total of 6 coins higher.
