$2.5 1837 PCGS MS64

VERY HIGH END!  This coin really does have EVERYTHING going for it. Superior surfaces are clean and smooth. Only with a strong glass can you detect a scattered tiny tick or two. Besides enjoying a full booming luster, this coin is also fully prooflike. The mirrors are vivid and no imagination is needed. Both sides are a superb and totally original orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is jaw dropping! PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2 (we think this is both). PCGS has graded an MS65 (lightly cleaned) and 65+ higher. This coin last sold back in 08/2016 for $30,550.00. We purchased it then and have resubmitted 2x since seeking a +. What in the world does PCGS want? Last we knew, our grading abilities were as good as any ones. Regardless, this is a tremendous example of a really RARE BUST $2.5. It will be a star in ANY Bust Gold  or Type set.
