$2.5 1804 14 STAR REV PCGS XF 40 OGH

WOW, what a coin and real numismatic treasure! For sure this is a SUPERB GEM XF! Of course it is exceedingly high end. We have seen far worse called AU!  We make no promises this will regrade higher, we think it looked too good in the holder and did not resubmit it. Exceptional surfaces look smooth and clean to the naked eye. Only with a strong glass can you find some tiny ticks and a few lines. There is some light die clashing too. The surfaces are no where near choppy. A surprising luster jumps out from both sides. The color is a totally original brighter yellow gold. There are NO spots or dark discolorations. The wear is very light. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal of this piece is phenomenal! PCGS 11, NGC 6, CAC 2.  It should be noted, CAC has beaned only 17 for the entire date! The ONLY record of a sale for this date is a PCGS XF 40 (NO CAC) selling for $15,863.00 03/2014. First to go 3.5 years with NONE in auction is a very long time. In XF45, the last PCGS  piece appeared in 1990! Remember, this piece is in  a smart “old green” holder.. For any Early gold piece, you can NOT beat this dates quality or eye appeal!
