When we see REALLY HIGH END and good looking coins like this-we buy them! The surfaces are pretty clean overall. Only with a strong glass can you see any tiny ticks. The surfaces do appear smooth. An above average luster enhances the really superb and totally original even pale Mint Red/brown colors. There are NO flecks, spots, or stains. Lincoln and the details are very well struck and stand out. Of course you can see the overdate with out a glass. The eye appeal is super! PCGS 198, NGC 96, CAC 50. The last one to sell in auction brought $6,663.00 08/2016. We would always buy a nice piece like this.
