We grade the piece 62+/63 but PCGS prefers to be solid at an MS62. The coin really does have remarkable quality.
Tons of luster/gloss beams from BOTH sides. Even when using a strong glass you are amazed to see how perfect the surfaces are. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a deeper chocolate brown with pale hints of blue. Lincoln and all of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is absolutely fantastic!
PCGS 24, NGC 10, CAC 5. A NON CAC MS62BN sold for $14,950.00 in 2010. In 2009, one sold for $16,100.00 Heritage. This coin was still raw then! An MS63BN would cost you at least $30,000.00-if you could ever find one! A must see for the serious and picky Lincoln Cent collector.
